Welcome to the UPSA-SA Website.

The United Professional Sales Association of Southern Africa (UPSA-SA) aims to elevate the status of the sales profession to the levels found in other professions.  We are a non-profit organisation run by sales professionals - for sales professionals.

We host regular educational and networking events for our members, and guests - please click on the events tab for more information.  We also provide a certification programme for members to become Certified and Registered Sales Professionals (CRSP), based on the information contained in our Compendium of Professional Selling (CoPS).  This manual on the WHAT is the sales professional can be downloaded from our resources area.

FEEDBACK - JANUARY EVENTS:
Brian Lambert shares message with about 200 sales people

Brian Lambert, UPSA International founder and leading sales expert visited South Africa in January to host a series of sales training workshops and to launch the Cape Town chapter of UPSA-SA.

As a reknowned author, researcher, guru, consultant and expert on Sales, Brian was able to share the latest thinking on sales professionalism with almost 200 people at the 5 events.

On the first 2 days Brian spent two intense days teaching delegates what it takes to be World-Class in terms of a sales team.  Exhausted delegates shared some thoughts on the 2-days:

Greg - "An amazing two days.  Wish I could pick Brian's brain for longer because it's incredible the amount we covered.'

Alan - “Wow. Well I now know what I need to know. In just two, albeit intense days, Brian took us to another level in the evolving theory of sales leadership.”

Brian took UPSA members and guests through an overview of the 10 steps to successful sales as he sees them.  He covered sales efficiency, sales effectiveness and how to become a trusted advisor.  Brian, Tony Cross, Greg Zurnamer then helped Mark Berger launch UPSA in Cape Town and spent a few hours sharing the vision for our growing organisation with Capetonians.

Then followed two 1-day workshop sessions on the 10 Steps to Sucessful Sales in Cape Town, and at a Corporate client in JHB.  Both workshops were a huge success judging from the excited delegates and incredible learning that appeared to take place.

All the profits from these events Brian and UPSA-SA donated to the Ubuntu Mission, which Brian and Tony Cross launched in Gauteng and hosted a coaching follow-up in KZN.
