UPSA opens in Cape Town
UPSA-SA today announced that it will be launching a new chapter in Cape Town in January 2010, as part of it's service to sales professionals accross South Africa. "We are now ready to expand nationally, having build a solid foundation of members and supporters in Gauteng over the past few years" said Tony Cross, current Chairperson of UPSA-SA.
Our Cape Town chapter will be headed by Mark Berger, founder of Mark Berger Training. "We are extremely pleased to have Mark on board to help us establish a presence in the Cape Town area" added Cross. Mark's business focuses on various elements of people development, and he has a strong sales training offering.
The launch promises to bring a new era for sales professionals in the Cape Town area, and UPSA-SA has made allowance for a regional membership pricing structure. Regional members will pay a reduced annual membership of R500, but will share in most of the benefits available to national or Gauteng-based members.
Brian Lambert, the founder of UPSA International based in Washington, USA will be arriving in SA for a series of workshops, and will be the keynote speaker at the Cape Town launch on 20 January 2010.
Sales leaders and professionals are encouraged to attend the launch, taking place at the stunning Vineyards Hotel in Newlands, Cape Town.
